Violante Binazzi has been working in the art field for almost a decade.

She is a qualified high school Art teacher for the Italian Ministry of Education.

An important practice entered Violante’s life during her time in Madrid. She discovered the yogic practice according to the Iyengar Style and started studying under the guidance of Elena Arechabala. Violante’s yoga journey began.

Once back in Italy she continued to study Iyengar yoga with Pabla Coronado before she discovered and fell in love with Ashtanga Yoga and ultimately found her first teacher Alessandro Ciaurri. After diving deep into the Ashtanga practice with Alessandro, he introduced her to his guru (teacher) Manju Pattahbi Jois, the son of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the founder of Ashtanga Yoga, which whom she has continued her teacher trainings with ever since.

She is now a certificated Ashtanga Yoga teacher at the AYFI of Florence, Italy, with the blessing of Manju, who is for her a constantly source of inspiration.

In 2012 she became a certificated yoga teacher for kids and teens with the Balya Yoga Method.

By practicing yoga and following the principles of the Ayurvedic philosophy, Violante started feeling the changes in her body and mind. Little by little the flow of this evolution brought her to apply the principles of yoga and mindfulness into her practice of art and educational activities for adults and children.

The result of this process is the Integral Art Method, which is a tool to discover the evolutionary aspect of Art through the body experience.

Violante has also continued to go deeper in the yogic path, by teaching students and leading classes at Yoga centers in Florence, Italy and offering workshops throughout Europe, Canada and India where she found her Guru G. on the Himalayan’s mountains.

Currently Violante is continuing her research and development of the Integral Art Method through experiential education in India. She is also working together with Andrew Kay on the various projects of Aum Lotus, including the development of Integral Sonic Yoga and multiple therapeutic practiced involving Yoga, Art, and Music.
